My $10 Strategy for Saving Over $1,000 on all My Las Vegas Trips

You see, if you’ve been to Las Vegas before, then you know by now that it is really not the cheap destination it used to be. Nor is it the place you go to for camping, with everything you need for two weeks contained in your backpack. NO. All that $30, $15, $70 for breakfast, cocktails, and casino visits every day can add up quickly if you’re doing it all from your pocket without taking advantage of the plethora of promos available to those who know the secret of saving in Las Vegas!

I’ve been doing Vegas 2 to 3 times a year for the past six years. And for the most part (before discovering my new strategy), I was spending anywhere from $70 up to $350 a day on rooms, food, booze, games, and club passes.

I knew Las Vegas wasn’t a cheap city but I also knew there’s always a way to save some money on anything, it's just that I didn’t know how. After multiple Google searches for “how to do Vegas on a budget,” I came across a Reddit thread where a savvy traveler shared his ultimate coupon book for over $1,000 in savings at some of the best resorts, restaurants, bars, casinos and hotels in Las Vegas.

Since, getting that book, I lowered my daily spend of [$70 - $350] to [$40 - $180] without being more frugal or lowering my standards. Not just that, I’m also now able to take my girl along and pay for everything without her chipping in for cocktails or buffets – all thanks to the American Casino Guide book.
